Sia became popular in Taiwan after starring in various drama series.

In 2015, the Sarawakian received a best supporting actor nomination in the Taiwan Golden Bell Awards for his role in the drama The Way We Were.

The Golden Bell Awards is Taiwan’s equivalent of the Emmy Awards.

> A woman and her nineyearold son were slapped by a moviegoer for talking in a cinema in Jinan, China, Kwong Wah Yit Poh reported.

The female assailant apparently warned the woman twice to keep it down before slapping them on Jan 29, it reported.

The suspect then left with her two friends after the incident.

A police report was lodged by the woman, known only as Mu.

Mu admitted that she was talking with her son as it was the first time her son was watching a 3D movie.

However, she denied that her son had spoken loudly in the cinema and claimed that the assailant’s child also talked during the movie.

According to the cinema workers, other moviegoers also complained that the boy was noisy.
