King attends 245th Conference of Rulers
KUALA LUMPUR: The Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Sultan Muhammad V, attended the 245th meeting of the Conference of Rulers at Istana Negara yesterday.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak also attended the meeting.
The two-day meeting, which began on Wednesday, was chaired by Perak Ruler Sultan Nazrin Shah.
Pahang was represented by the Regent, Tengku Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah, and Kelantan by the Regent, Tengku Dr Muhammad Faiz Petra. Kedah was represented by the Raja Muda, Tan Sri Tunku Sallehuddin Sultan Badlishah, and Johor by the Tunku Mahkota, Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim.
The Malay Rulers were accompanied by the respective mentris besar.
The Yang di-Pertuas Negri of Malacca, Penang, Sarawak and Sabah also attended the meeting, accompanied by their respective chief ministers. — Bernama
