KUALA LUMPUR: StarProperty. my has kicked off the year’s first property fair at Sunway Velocity Mall along Lingkaran SV here, showcasing a wide array of property projects.

The four-day fair, which goes on until Sunday, brings together the best of what the industry has to offer.

These include the award-winning township Bandar Sri Sendayan by Matrix Concepts Holdings Bhd, The Robertson by Gamuda Land, Bandar Rimbayu and Pantai Sentral Park by IJM Land, as well as Maju Kuala Lumpur by ASM Development Sdn Bhd.

The other developers taking part include Sunway Property, Hua Yang Bhd, Sime Darby Brunsfield and The HCK Group.

Law Wai Yeen, 49, from Ipoh, who is looking to buy good properties, said Kuala Lumpur was a popular location for property investors throughout Malaysia.

“Buyers like myself are looking for good investments due to the potential returns.

“Although I am interested in commercial properties, I came across an attractive property option, Maju Kuala Lumpur by ASM Development Sdn Bhd, for my son,” Law added.

The property features good connectivity given the presence of a nearby KTM line and a proposed KTM station that would be directly connected to the up- coming development.

There will also be a future connection to the upcoming MRT line, Law said.

Students of UITM Malacca Che Nurul Khalida, 25, and Nor Hidayah, 23, were also at the fair yesterday .

Nurul Khalida said it was her aspiration to purchase a luxury condominium with at least three bedrooms, as it is suitable for family living.

She added that the ideal pricing for a house would be RM150,000 and below to ensure easy loan approval.

Nor Hidayah said although prices were high, it was still possible for young executives to own property, provided they research the market first.

The StarProperty.my Fair is being held from 10am to 10pm.

Property buyers stand a chance to walk away with lucky draw prizes worth over RM10,000.

Visitors can also win mystery gifts by participating in a survey to be held from Friday to Sunday.
