Former cook’s legs swell up by 10kg
Woman also loses mobility due to infection
A BACTERIAL infection from a wound could have led to a 10kg swelling of a woman’s legs over the last three years.
It cost Eizan Nadia Zainuddin, 39, not only her job as a cook but also her mobility, reported Kosmo!.
Eizan, from Kuala Terengganu, said she had high fever which caused her legs to turn reddish in November 2014 and she was admitted to the Putrajaya Hospital.
She was told that her disease is known as cellulitis and not elephantiasis.
“I believe I got infected from an old wound when I fell in the bathroom,” she said.
Eizan went through four surgeries to remove the excess fat and water collected in her legs, and each procedure cost RM1,000.
Due to the financial burden, she was forced to move in with her parents, who are retired civil servants.

Suri Hati Mr. Pilot, a drama the duo starred in, won the MeleTOP Drama category.
“It is an unmistakable effort from the fans who have always supported the show and I personally did not have any hopes of win- ning,” said Neelofa, who is an actress, entrepreneur and TV host.

The couple got married in a ceremony held at a mosque in Kampung Simpang Tebing Tinggi, Pahang, on Sunday, and the event was witnessed by their children and grandchildren from their previous marriages.
