School girl abused by brothers tells all to the cops

SUNGAI PETANI: One brother treated her like a sex slave while another physically abused her and made her steal.

The 16-year-old schoolgirl’s nightmare began when she was 12 in 2013.

Her then 16-year old brother, now 20, started to physically abuse her and made her enter homes to steal.

It got worse in July 2015, a month after their father died when another brother, now 18, began raping her when they were alone at their home here.

Sick of the rape and abuse, she lodged a police report against both brothers on Wednesday.

She claimed in the report that her 18-year-old brother threatened to harm her if she told their mother about the rapes.

“Worried about her mother’s safety, she let her brother use her as a sex slave.

“She could not stand the ordeal anymore, after she was raped on July 30, she lodged a police report.

“In her report, the girl stated that she had told her mother about the rapes but nothing was done,” Kuala Muda deputy police chief Supt Saifi Abdul Hamid said yesterday.

He said the girl, who is the sixth among nine siblings, claimed her brother who had her stealing at the age of 12, forcefully dragged her on a tarred road once, leaving deep scars on an arm.

She has been warded at the Sungai Petani Hospital for a medical examination,” Supt Saifi said.

Police obtained remand orders to detain the 20-year-old brother yesterday until Sunday and the other brother until next Wednesday.

Supt Saifi said the older brother was being investigated for voluntarily causing hurt and the other for incest.
