THE prized Musang King seedlings grew threefold as the durians from Raub and Bentong have become even more popular today, China Press reported.

It was reported that Musang King durians are currently priced at RM37 a kg.

> A railway station in Pingtung County, Taiwan, will introduce a twist to its crossing lights next year in an effort to draw in pedestrians, Sinchew Daily reported.

An image of a man and a woman walking while holding hands will emerge, instead of the usual stick figure when the lights turn green.

When the light turns red, a silhouette of a man kneeling down to propose to a woman appears.

Transport bureau officials said they hoped the signals would reduce jaywalking in the area.

> Miss Hong Kong 2015 Louisa Mak said she was sexually assaulted several times, Oriental Daily reported.

In a Facebook post, the straight-A student and Cambridge law graduate said that like many other girls, she was also sexually assaulted.

Looking back, Mak said some of the incidents could have been avoided if she was vigilant enough.

She said the incidents occurred in China when she was in her teens during an exchange tour.

Mak’s post follows the post of Hong Kong hurdling champion Vera Lui Lai-yiu, who claimed she was sexually assaulted by a coach 10 years ago.

Lui became the highest-profile figure in Hong Kong to join the global “#MeToo” movement.
