Directors wooing Fattah and Fazura

NEWLYWEDS Fattah Amin and Nur Fazura Sharifuddi­n have received acting offers from directors in Indonesia, Utusan Malaysia reported.

The power couple caught the attention of several directors at the premiere of Ayat Ayat Cinta 2.

Fazura, who starred in the movie, said she and her husband were grateful for the offers, adding that they would visit the country more frequently.

“I was surprised that experience­d film directors in Indonesia are interested in hiring us because there are so many talented actors and actresses,” said the 34-year-old actress.

“But when opportunit­ies like these come, we will seize them.”

> A 30-year-old man allegedly sexually assaulted his young sister-in-law at Kampung Seria Jaya 2, Setapak, Harian Metro reported.

The incident took place when the 14-yearold victim was asleep.

According to the police, the victim would stay over at the couple’s house during the school holidays to help take care of her nieces and nephews.

Police said the suspect threatened to kill the victim’s family if she could not keep it a secret.

However, the victim told her sister about it. > Two teenage boys out looking for birds were shocked to find a human skull and bones at an oil palm plantation near Bukit Jong, Kosmo! reported.

Eight bones were found scattered in the area along with a mobile phone and cap.

Cousins Muhammad Aiman Hakimi Yusri and Muhammad Nur Azlan Shakri initially thought the bones were mushrooms.

Kuala Krai OCPD Supt Abdullah Roning said the bone fragments were found within 50m of the site.

“We believe the bones were brought by a dog from another area,” he said.

The bones had been sent to the Kuala Krai Hospital for further examinatio­n.
