> Tiger’s the Man!

Without a doubt, Tiger Woods is the greatest golfer of all time, whether he breaks Jack Nicklaus’ 18 Majors or not. Who can dispute his greatness!!!

> Who’s the real problem?

Tried changing coaches but that didn’t work. Maybe it’s the football players that need to be changed. – Stan.

> Enforce the law

Curfew for youths suggested by the Wangsa Maju Wanita Umno division chief is just too simplistic and will not work. Whatever laws are enacted will not be effective if there’s no enforcement. They would be just for show on paper.

> Make things better

The Government should find the ways and means to look into the rakyat’s problems. If they think that past leaders have done wrong, then they should correct the wrongs. — Farid Hazim

> Local first, then global

Our nation should not be proud of our ‘Mau Shan Wang’ durian and go into coding when most people cannot afford them at RM50 or more per kg. The government should adopt a policy where more orchards plant local fruits for local consumption first at reasonable prices before exporting to Singapore & China. The prices of local fruits are now exorbitant. Being a Malaysian, quite many have not tasted ‘Mau Shan Wang’ durian. Have you? – CT Tan.

> Buck up KTM!

ETS tickets for the Christmas weekend are not on sale yet. No date is given on when they will be available. No wonder KTM is losing money every year.

> Charged more for less

KLIA2 was to replace the old LCCT (Low Cost Carrier Terminal) for budget travellers who want no frills and affordable air travel but Mavcom is taking advantage of its success to increase the charges to be on par with KLIA. The many inconveniences passengers suffer - like walking long distances to and from boarding gates does not justify the increase in KLIA2 charges. Since the charges are similar, we hope that airlines will be given the liberty to choose whether to use KLIA or KLIA2, to level the playing field for all. It is unfair to passengers using KLIA2 as the charges are now RM73 as at KLIA but they have to endure the shortcomings of KLIA2. – Thomas Foo, Subang Jaya

> Saintly advice

Pope Francis’ advice on reconcilation, forgiveness, peace and harmony among the people in Myanmar for the Rohingya community is saintly. – PJ Gomes
