Siti Elizad wants to be a film director

Many filmmakers encourage me to learn, says actress

SITI Elizad (pic) would like to dabble in directing one day, Sinar Harian reported.

The Syurga Yang Kedua actress said she would take the opportunit­y to learn and observe how to direct while on the set.

“Many of them (directors) share their knowledge and they encourage me to learn, not just because I want to be a director myself one day, but also for me to become a better actress,” she said.

She also addressed rumours that her career and packed schedule have caused marital issues with her husband.

“Even though it may seem to others that I’m busy all the time, I’ve never neglected my duties as a wife.

“In fact, before I go out for work, I’ll still cook for my husband even though my call time is in the early morning,” said Siti Elizad, who likes to ride high-performanc­e motorcycle­s with her husband.

One of the cats named Aika Akira Alvaro, which belongs to Noraffidah Ramli, won second place in the Maine Coon category.

Noraffidah, who rears about 40 cats, said she did not expect Aika’s stellar performanc­e on the internatio­nal stage.

Rooaida Mohd Darus, who bought her cat Miko from a cat store in 2015, said she was proud that her pet was declared champion in the British longhair (male) category.

The two cats were selected by the Malaysia Cat Club to represent the country in October at the competitio­n which had 1,700 cats from 40 countries contesting.

Siti Nur Intan Hidayah Azhar from Pahang was proud to reach the summit of the 810m mountain accompanie­d by her parents.

“I cried when I reached the top because I didn’t expect to be able to. I nearly gave up, but with help from the others, I had the motivation to carry on,” said Siti.
