Najib unveils new logo with ‘five principles’ for his blog
KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak has introduced a new logo for his blog, NajibRazak.com, which reflects the five principles of government administration that have served as an indicator to spur the country onwards since 2009.
He said the five principles were economy, global, visionary, people’s heart, and delivery.
Explaining the first principle, economy, Najib said the Government under his leadership had been focusing on ensuring the economy remains strong.
“Among the first steps I took as Prime Minister was to introduce the Economic Transformation Programme,” he said.
In line with the global principle, Najib said Malaysia continued to have strong influence on the international front through its approach and policies.
He said the outcome of its good relations globally was an increase of foreign investments in Malaysia and an increase of the haj quota, among others.
“On the third principle, vision, the country’s leaders must always think and give their best not only when leading the country ... but for the next generation and the future of the nation.
“We have introduced the National Transformation 2050 for us to plan what needs to be done and also listen to the people’s aspirations and expectations,” he said.
On the principle of the people’s heart, Najib said he often emphasised that everything done should take the people’s interest into account. The people must come first,” he said, adding that everything planned by the Government should be accompanied by efficient delivery.
