Yeoh steals Jacky Cheung’s limelight for a while

-

ACTRESS Tan Sri Michelle Yeoh was among fans who showed up at Jacky Cheung’s concert at Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil, reported China Press.

Her presence, two minutes before the show, caused a commotion among the fans who rushed over to take pictures with her.

She obliged and was seen waving to them happily during the show on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Cheung said he hoped to see the fans again at the end of his show, dubbed “A Classic Tour” and which started last year.

Despite three days of actionpacked performances, the 56-yearold Cheung was in top form, both physically and vocally.

“I hope all of you think my performance is good, and hope you did not make the wrong choice in coming to my concert,” he said.

Cheung said he felt saddened when he realised some fans were watching him live for the first time.

“I have been singing for such a long time, and this is the first time you came to my concert?

“But thinking about it, I have been singing for so long and there are still young fans who came to watch. It is a good thing,” he said.

> Kwong Wah Yit Poh reported that Hong Kong superstar Andy Lau would be holding a concert tour during Christmas this year.

He will have several performances at the Hong Kong Coliseum until the New Year in 2019.

This will be followed by several shows in China.

Lau had to give it a miss last year after being injured while filming a commercial near Bangkok in January last year.
