Reunion dinner with an extra serving of good deeds

MELAKA: A resort here is offering affordable reunion dinner packages to help raise funds for a children’s home in Petaling Jaya.

Bayou Lagoon Park Resort in Bukit Katil here has unveiled its reunion-cum-charity dinner packages.

Its managing director Datuk Marco Seow said the resort is determined to raise funds for the Lovely Disabled Home during the Chinese New Year period.

He said his team would encourage their friends, families and guests to help the home through donation boxes placed at the resort.

“We want to continue our yearly tradition of giving back to the community,” he said after launching the resort’s Chinese New Year menus.

Seow said he would also organise a fundraisin­g campaign to help education-based non-government­al organisati­ons in the state.
