Couple’s drug-making business busted
BATU GAJAH: A couple’s drug-making business here came to an end when police raided their home.
OCPD Asst Comm Ahmad Tarmizi Shaari said police, in the raid at 2.45pm on Jan 24, seized 27g of heroin, 1.12g of ketamine, caffeine powder and chloroform along with an Audi TT car valued at RM100,000.
He said the Malaysian male suspect, 47, was believed to have been supplying drugs in the area for the past four months.
ACP Ahmad Tarmizi said the suspect also tested positive for drugs and had a criminal record.
The woman, he said, was a Vietnamese national and police were investigating the extent of her involvement. — Bernama
