It is heart-wrenching to read about the 14-year-old girl who passed away days after her suicide attempt. She hanged herself after being accused of stealing her teacher’s handphone. Why was there a need for the teachers to relentlessly interrogate her and confine the girl in the school office for hours? A young life has been lost needlessly.
