Netizens express disgust over dog rape report

BUKIT MERTAJAM: Netizens have expressed shock and disgust after reading a social media report alleging that an Indonesian contract worker had sexual intercourse with a dog here, leading to its death.

The people, who were upset by such a savage and barbaric act, took to social media to express their anger.

“This is so sad and unbearable. How can the culprit still walk around like a free man? Now the poor doggy is the victim.

“Next time, he may target children or any woman who passes by,” said one woman on Facebook.

Another netizen commented: “Sick people. Report to DVS and the police immediately so that strong action can be taken against him as soon as possible.”

Witnesses have lodged a police report. In the posting, it was alleged that the man had raped the dog once last year near Icon City in Bukit Tengah.

The dog was believed to have been pregnant at the time and its puppy did not survive.

The man supposedly had sex with the animal again this month, tying the dog with ropes to prevent it from escaping. It later died.

Central Seberang Prai OCPD Asst Comm Nik Ros Azhan Nik Abdul Hamid said no arrest had been made.
