CHANGING with the times, MST Golf, the biggest retail company in the local industry and collective­ly, the biggest in South-East Asia has made available for the first tine, online shopping.

According to MST Golf chief executive officer Ng Yap, there are over 60 brands on offer with some 3,000 different products available.

“Up until now, there was no serious online golf shops in Malaysia or the South-East Asia region,” said Ng. “And today we have over 160 000 product combinatio­ns, of which more than 125 000 are on final clearance with savings of up to 75%.

“And as the nation’s No 1 golf retailer, launching online store mstgolf.com to provide golfers in Malaysia the convenienc­e to shop online and buy comprehens­ive selections of brands and products which MST Golf carries was just a matter of progressio­n.

“We are pleased and excited that we finally got our online store off the ground and started to trade. This is the largest and most comprehens­ive golf online store in the country,” said Ng.

He said their e-commerce website was “a totally new design and you can see a very clean and clear site layout.

The landing page shows all current MST Golf promotions which are applicable to both the online store and the brick and mortar stores.”

The MST boss added that it was not only easy to navigate, but that it also provided comprehens­ive product searches, viewing, purchasing and paying without too much difficulty.

The online shopping includes merchandis­e from global brands like Honma, TaylorMade, Titleist, Mizuno, Cobra, Wilson, Yamaha, XXIO, Ping, Srixon, OnOff, Odyssey, adidas, Cutter & Buck, Collantott­e, Nike, UnderArmou­r, FootJoy, Puma, Skechers, Annika, Ahead, Antigua, Bell & Page, MotoCaddy, Aerocart and Garmin.

There’s also delightful news for MST Golf ilovegolf members. The 73,000- odd members of this loyalty card programme can earn points buying online and will be treated to selected promotions.

Commenting on the new undetaking, Ng added: “We are not a start- up online business.

“We are an establishe­d golf retailer with a chain of stores that’s now extended its services online to provide greater convenienc­e and better reach.”

With regards to the future, Ng said the website would “continue to evolve with additional features, and product and services to better serve golfers.

“We aim to open up other markets in the region later this year.

“We will also leverage on our retail store locations across the nation as well as overseas to enhance our overall service level and help give us a competitiv­e edge,” added Ng.
