Foundation studies starting soon

-

SCHOOL leavers who have obtained their SPM results, and choose to undergo Foundation studies at Curtin University Malaysia (Curtin Malaysia) can apply for its March (Semester 1) intake before the start of classes on March 28.

Curtin Malaysia, Curtin University’s largest international campus and global hub in Asia, offers quality, world-class degree courses in engineering and science, business and humanities identical to those at its main campus in Perth at affordable Malaysian fees.

Its one-year Foundation programmes in Engineering and Science, Commerce and Arts (Media) feed directly into the degree programmes.

In addition, degrees earned at Curtin Malaysia are awarded directly by the main campus, and undergraduate students can transfer to the main campus or Curtin’s other international campuses in Singapore and Dubai to complete their degrees.

The Foundation programmes at Curtin Malaysia are designed for school leavers to gain the essential skills and knowledge for a smooth transition to tertiary study, providing the best possible fundamentals to undertake a Bachelor’s degree.

Curtin Malaysia has launched full and partial Curtin Foundation Scholarships worth RM3mil for outstanding students from top-performing secondary schools in Miri and the region, including rural schools, to undertake one-year Foundation programmes in 2018.

Eligible candidates must be nominated by, and apply through, their school principals or counsellors.

In addition, students with outstanding results in the SPM, STPM, O-Level, A-Level and UEC examinations can take advantage of the Curtin Malaysia Merit Scholarships offering significant tuition fee waivers to pursue a quality Australian education with Curtin Malaysia.

For information on the foundation courses, scholarships and study loans, contact Stevenson Tan at 019 885 6076 or send an e-mail to stevenson.tan@curtin.edu.my or enquiries@curtin.edu.my.
