New Mizuno GT180 woods launched
MIZUNO has launched its new GT180 driver that completes its wood line- up for 2018. Having made good headlines with its irons in 2017, Mizuno is now pushing deeper into metal woods – a category in which it has a track record of introducing some of the industry’s more influential innovations.
The mass production of Titanium (Ti100), the impact of low spin (T-Zoid), lightweight graphite crowns (MP-001) and sliding weight adjustability (MP-600)) have all been embraced by other r manufacturers s.
Mizun no’s Wave sole moves so ome of the weight lo ower, thereby dropping g spin rates.
This is s Mizuno’s first Wav ve sole in a driver an nd it allows the GT18 80 to contract and d expand on impact – increasing energy im mparted to the ball.
Also, withw a new Forg ged SP700 Ti i Face, the GT18 80 accelerat tes ball speeds noticeably. KEY FEATURES
Amplified Wave sole: Originally engineered in fairway woods, the Shockwave sole contracts/expands, while pushing weight forward for reduced spin rates.
Efficient low spin design: An Internal Waffle Crown saves weight that is reallocated low and forward.
Forged SP700 Ti Face: Allows a precise multi-thickness face for accelerated ball speeds.
The Mizuno GT180 driver comes witith a suggessted retail pricee of RMM2,,590 and thhe GT180 fairway woods RM1,590.
