Syafiq: I may sue sex tape peddlers
ACTOR Syafiq Kyle (pic) is mulling legal action to resolve the controversy he is embroiled in – a sex video clip featuring a man purportedly resembling him, which is making its rounds on Twitter.
Kosmo! reported that Syafiq, whose real name is Mohamad Shafiq Shamim Abdul Razak, 26, is also trying to resolve another problem – the video being offered for sale for RM20 online.
“If it goes on, we will not hesitate to take legal action against those who distributed the video,” he said in a statement on Instagram.
Harian Metro reported that in the roughly seven-minute video, the man resembling the actor was seen first on a sofa and then in the bathroom.
Apart from biting his lip and sticking out his tongue at the camera, the man was also calling out to someone named “Mira” to join him.
Syafiq, who made his name in the television series Nur, appealed for the matter not to be prolonged as it is the fasting month.
He also dismissed the screenshots of inappropriate conversations he allegedly had with some other individuals as baseless.
> A young man was arrested in Kluang, Johor, just before dawn on Tuesday after he was caught breaking into a house and stealing women’s underclothes, reported Sinar Harian.
Acting Kluang OCPD Deputy Supt Abdul Razak Abdullah Sani said initial investigations revealed that the 23-year-old suspect had broken into the home owned by a military officer in Taman Sri Impian.
“The house owner had come out at about 4.30am when he heard noises outside and saw the suspect already in his compound.
“He tried to escape but was caught in front of the neighbour’s house, where he dropped the stolen items – seven bras, three T-shirts and a pair of pants,” he said.
