Free beers if you can slide through restaurant’s gate

A RESTAURANT in ShanDong, China, will treat diners to a meal and free flow of beer if they can squeeze through a 15cm-wide gate, China Press reported.

According to reports, the restaurant had installed a metal gate at the entrance with different width gaps, where customers could get discounts depending on which gap they could squeeze through.

A patron who squeezed through a 25cm gap would be treated to a bottle of beer while those who could tackle the 18cm gap would get five bottles.

The 61-year-old caretaker of an old folks home in Triang, Pahang, is believed to have fainted due to high blood pressure, which then led to the accident.

During the incident, a lorry driver who was tailing the victim witnessed the incident and alerted the police and ambulance.
