Fun-filled day awaits participants

#AnakAnakMalaysia Walk offers exciting prizes and activities galore

PETALING JAYA:

Come for the #AnakAnakMalaysia Walk at Eco Ardence, Setia Alam and enjoy a cup of cold Milo from a van.

There will also be delicious Massimo sambal ikan bilis buns and 100 Plus energy drinks to quench your thirst.

All these food and beverage items will be given out free to participants.

The unity walk will see more than 6,000 Malaysians undertaking the 3.8km walk through the landscaped areas of Eco Ardence on Sept 2.

The walk will begin outside the Eco Ardence Sales Gallery and will have five pit stops.

At Pitstop 1 tagged For the future of Malaysia, participants will be required to collect blue or red stickers to paste on a huge collage to form a Malaysian flag.

At Pitstop 2 tagged #JomKeHadapan Together, where participants will have to walk through the openings of several life-sized heart shape cutouts.

The third pitstop will have an obstacle course aimed at challenging participants and building their confidence.

There will be opportunities for selfies and wefies at Pitstop 4 while at Pitstop 5, participants can collect unique pins to complete their #AnakAnakMalaysia wristbands.

Performers known as the Street Stompers will wow those walking around the Eco Worlds Signature Roundabout with their music.

The walk will be officiated by Selangor Mentri Besar Amirudin Shari. Participants are encouraged to wear the #AnakAnakMalaysia wristbands during the walk in support of the initiative.

Participants will stand a chance to win a Proton Saga 1.3CVT Executive sponsored by DRB-Hicom Berhad. AirAsia Berhad is sponsoring the second prize, a pair of return tickets from Kuala Lumpur to Honolulu, Hawaii.

For the third prize, Naza Automotive Group has sponsored the Vespa S125 i-GET.

AirAsia is also sponsoring another pair of return tickets from Kuala Lumpur to Tokyo for a lucky draw.

Silver sponsor Panasonic Malaysia has sponsored over RM10,000 worth of electrical items that include a premium inverter series air conditioner, double door refrigerator, 4K smart LED television, microwave oven, slow juicer, air purifier and an urban audio fit for music lovers.
