Ju­lia: Film pro­ducer asked me to sed uce him

AC­TRESS Ju­lia Farhana Marin (pic) has claimed that a film pro­ducer asked her to se­duce him dur­ing an au­di­tion three years ago.

Re­lat­ing her ex­pe­ri­ence to Ming­guan Malaysia, the ac­tress of MalayI­tal­ian parent­age said the pro­ducer also sug­gested that she touch him.

“I was re­ally an­gry. It felt as though my dig­nity was be­ing tram­pled on,” said the 26-year-old, who has ap­peared in Salon, The Bridge and Jib­ril.

De­spite be­ing of­fered act­ing roles in three dra­mas that he was pro­duc­ing, she said she re­jected his ad­vances.

“I did not feel com­fort­able. Why should I want to carry on?” she added.

On an un­re­lated note, Ju­lia said she is flu­ent in Man­darin and loves nasi kandar.

The event, billed Why I Chose An­other Woman’s Hus­band, was held in Kuala Lumpur on Satur­day by Per­tubuhan Kelu­arga Har­moni, a non-gov­ern­men­tal or­gan­i­sa­tion.

Metro Ahad re­ported that the cor­dial event brought to­gether wives in polyg­a­mous mar­riages so that they could meet their hus­bands’ spouses.

Among them was Su, 39, who was in­tro­duced to Ros, 37, who was go­ing to wed her hus­band Rahi­man Md Zin.

Rahi­man, 41, said he was happy to see the two women he loved sit­ting at the same ta­ble and chat­ting in a friendly man­ner.

“I want the thr ree of us to un­der­stand one an­other r. And it is prepa­ra­tion for the next phase if I am fated to be with Ros,” he said.

Su said she was s ini­tially an­gry, but ac­cepted the sit­u­a­tions af­ter Rahi­man as­sured her that his love for her and d their chil­dren would not di­min­ish.

Ros admit­ted to feel­ing ner­vous about th he meet­ing.

“Thank­fully, it t went well,” she said.

An­other par­tic­i­pant, Siti, 31, said she would be the sec­ond wif fe of a man later this yea ar and that she was pre­pared to share him with an­other woman in a polyga- mous mar­riage.
