The club is an initiative by the Education Ministry’s Industry Relations Division director Prof Dr Arham Abdullah and supported by Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation director of Talent Siti Norliza Sahar.

Recognising the need to come together, CDCC was founded on the desire to collaboratively devel- op initiatives that will enhance the skills set of career development practitioners in Malaysian institutions of higher learning, as well as provide a platform for the sharing of best practices.

This first of its kind platform in Malaysia will offer professional programmes, conferences, workshops and more to its members that will ultimately benefit the employability of the next generation of Malaysian youth.

The event was hosted by Taylor’s University vice-chancellor and president Prof Michael Driscoll.

Department of Higher Education deputy director-general (Public Sector) Prof Dr Noor Azizi Ismail officiated at the event together with the club’s three advisors, Prof Arham, Norliza and Zainah Rujihan who is the Education Ministry’s Industry Liaison & Employability Division director for the Polytechnic Education and Community College Department.
