Zizi unfazed by ‘porn star’ remarks from netizens

-

POPULAR local artiste Zizi Kirana (pic) is unfazed by comments from netizens who labelled her as similar to “a porn star”, owing to frequent sexy postings in her Instagram account.

The actress-cum-singer, who is well-known for her song Nak Ke Tak Nak Lepak Mamak, said she was not slighted by such comments.

“It is up to them how they want to interpret the photographs,” she told Metro Ahad.

Zizi, 33, was puzzled as to why some netizens reacted the way they did, saying that even her mother did not make any fuss over her appearance.

She also has no intention of shutting down the comment section as netizens were free to voice their thoughts.

“Let them leave whatever comments they like, even negative ones,” she said.

She denied her sexy appearance was a gimmick for an upcoming project, following the launch of her first single Siapa Yang Bap Bap recently.

> Muslim wives, whose husbands are seeking consent at the Syariah Court to take a second wife, were advised not to be “stupid” and follow their emotions by not showing up for the proceedings.

Selangor Health, Welfare, Women Empowerment and Family Committee chairman Dr Siti Mariah Mahmud said the first wives had nothing to lose by attending.

She said their presence would allow the Syariah judge to interview them to determine if their husbands were qualified and capable of taking another wife.

“The court needs to verify their husband’s accounts and informa- tion before arriving at a decision,” Dr Siti was quoted by BH Ahad.

The issue was raised after the Perak government proposed to amend its laws to allow Muslim husbands to marry another wife without the need for their first wives to be present in court.

The proposal was aimed at facilitating polygamous marriages in the state and to reduce such marriages from being done abroad.

Selangor Syariah Court chief judge Mohammad Adib Husain said such amendments were unnecessary as present laws were sufficient.
