242 cops on duty at agro expo

SERDANG: Some 242 police officers will be deployed to Malaysia Agriculture, Horticulture and Agrotourism Show from Thursday to Dec 2 to ensure the safety of visitors and smooth traffic.

Sepang district police chief ACP Abdul Aziz Ali said more than 3.5 million people were expected at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park.

“There will be mobile police stations at Laman Tiba 1, Laman Tiba 2 and Dewan A. The police will also maintain order in the parking area.

“The public can help reduce congestion by taking the shuttle bus which stops at Putrajaya Presint 14, Presint 4, Putrajaya Sentral, IOI City Mall and Serdang KTM Commuter station,” he said here yesterday. — Bernama
