Referring to the letter “Low rate of conviction for child abusers” (The Star, Nov 19), this truly troubles me as a children’s court advisor. The offenders must be brought to justice and the Social Welfare Department must act with speed and urgency in such cases. Show that you mean business. – Bulbir Singh
