Youth clinic helps unearth new talent
A GOLF clinic, designed to help identify new talent was held for AmBank Priority clients’ children, prior to the AmBank SportExcel International Junior Golf Championship at Glenmarie Golf & Country Club and proved a huge success.
The event was in line with AmBank’s initiative to unearth new young blood in golf by exposing them to development programmes such as this clinic.
Indeed, it is through such sustainable programmes that the future of sport is able to produce budding stars of international standard.
“As the saying goes, ‘strike the iron while it is still hot’, is very much applicable to what we are doing now,” said AmBank Group executive vice-president of Group Corporate Communications & Marketing Syed Anuar Syed Ali.
“We are hoping to produce talented golfers that can further contribute towards the development of youth sports in the country.
“Plus, this is the first time we are reaching out to our clients to provide the opportunity and create value for having their banking business with us”, added Syed Anuar.
