Unfamiliar territory in Malaysia after King resigns

During Sultan Muhammad V’s reign as the King from Dec 2016 until Jan 6, 2019, Malaysia saw a change of government for the first time. But his resignation on Jan 6 has put the country in unfamiliar territory.
