> Subang Airport link

Transport Minister, what happened to the proposal to connect Subang Airport with the nearest MRT station? The link would encourage travellers to use public transport. – LeeHuiSeng

> Somebody has to act

Are the authorities aware of the activities taking place next to the Klang River opposite the TNB power station? There’s a massive project going on and it’s polluting the river and destroying vegetation. Please do something before it is too late. – Concerned citizen

> Simple solution

There is a water supply cut this week that will affect hundreds of thousands of consumers in the Klang valley. One common problem with water cuts happens after the supply is restored – blockage due to air locks. The solution is simple but due to ignorance, many consumers call in plumbers to fix their pipes! Could the authority concerned please share simple DIY measures if water does not flow so that consumers don’t call for needless service from plumbers? – Maniam Sankar, Kuala Lumpur

> Nab the retirees too

Congratulations to the MACC for acting swiftly to arrest the corrupt JPJ officials in Penang who were in cahoots with law-breaking transport lorry companies and drivers. There may be more corrupt JPJ and other enforcement agencies in other states. Please also arrest them and retired corrupt JPJ officers too. Show that the long arm of the law will catch up with those who are corrupt. – Dr Citizen, Nilai

> Remembering Karpal

The late Karpal Singh was a man of great courage and integrity. I am sure that during his lifetime, he helped a lot of people to get justice when everyone else failed or dared not to do so. We in Alor Setar, Karpal’s hometown, join his family in commemorating his fifth death anniversary and recent court win. – William Ong

> No need for islands

I agree with the SMS text on Saturday under the heading “No islands in the sun”. What Penang needs is a good public transport system that will benefit the entire population. Time, money and livelihoods have been wasted on this foolish endeavour.

> Dispense other notes
