Are the authorities aware of the activities taking place next to the Klang River opposite the TNB power station? There’s a massive project going on and it’s polluting the river and destroying vegetation. Please do something before it is too late. – Concerned citizen

There is a water supply cut this week that will affect hundreds of thousands of consumers in the Klang valley. One common problem with water cuts happens after the supply is restored – blockage due to air locks. The solution is simple but due to ignorance, many consumers call in plumbers to fix their pipes! Congratulations to the MACC for acting swiftly to arrest the corrupt JPJ officials in Penang who were in cahoots with law-breaking transport lorry companies and drivers. There may be more corrupt JPJ and other enforcement agencies in other states. Please also arrest them and retired corrupt JPJ officers too. I agree with the SMS text on Saturday under the heading “No islands in the sun”. What Penang needs is a good public transport system that will benefit the entire population. Time, money and livelihoods have been wasted on this foolish endeavour.
