TVB forced to reshoot Wong’s scenes due to scandal

Forensic Heroes IV has to be reshot after the scandal involving the lead actress Jacqueline Wong

(pic) and Andy Hui was exposed, China Press reported.

TVB decided to change the lead actress and reshoot more than

50 scenes, costing TVB more than HK$10mil (RM5.27mil).

The show’s producer, Mui Siuching, confirmed the reshoot and said it involved a lot of preparatio­n including writing the script and sourcing for a new female lead.

“Wong was the lead female actress in the drama, it is impossible to get rid of her character,” she said.

The drama was supposed to be aired on Nov 4 in Hong Kong and China but due to the reshoot, the release date in China is likely to be delayed.

A videoclip of Wong and Hui, who is married to singer Sammi Cheng, kissing in a taxi surfaced recently.

According to the results of a recent study conducted by New World Wealth, 15,000 wealthy Chinese left their country last year followed by Russia at 7,000 and India 5,000.

A high tax rate and constant scrutiny from authoritie­s on high-income group are among the reasons why China is seeing so many of its wealthy choosing to live in other countries, the study said.

Other reasons include the search for a better living environmen­t and education opportunit­ies.

Nine of the videos were taken in a school compound.

The man was charged with outraging the modesty of his victims and possessing pornograph­ic material.

He was exposed when he tried to take videos up a woman’s skirt on March 30, 2015, at a staircase leading to Mapletree Business City, Singapore.

A pedestrian saw him in the act and reported the man to the police.
