Uneasy over bodyguards

Nora Danish: Hubby hired them as he gets anxious over my safety

-

SINGER and actress Nora Danish (pic) admitted to feeling a little uneasy over the presence of two bodyguards hired by her husband to ensure her safety.

“I tried to explain to him that there are always people in show business, such as the production crew members, who would look out for me,” Kosmo! quoted her as saying.

“But I don’t think he fully gets it and he thinks too much. He gets very anxious over my safety,” said the 37-year-old actress.

Nora married Nedim Nazri, who is the son of former Cabinet minister Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz, in 2017.

She said her husband was concerned about criminals such as robbers if she were to go out alone.

Nora also spoke of colliding into other cars while driving home after work.

“There was once I crashed into a pole. So maybe that is another reason why Nedim hired bodyguards, so that these cases do not happen again,” she said.

> A man ended up spending one week at the intensive care unit after he applied motorcycle engine oil on his gums to cure a toothache.

Apparently he had reservations about seeing a dentist.

So he decided on his own selfcure treatment, Sinar Harian quoted Dr Wee Sin Hua, who works at a hospital in Kota Baru.

Dr Wee said the patient had used the method when he had a toothache several years ago.

The pain eased off but when the patient repeated the method later, it caused his gums to swell.

He was given painkillers and antibiotics but they did not work.

“The patient was sent to the ICU when his face started to swell. His condition improved after about a week at the ICU,” Dr Wee said.
