BIZTRAK Business Solutions Sdn Bhd has signed a Memorandum of Understand­ing (MoU) with USCI College.

This is to establish cooperatio­n in the field of higher education which is mutually beneficial to both parties.

The MoU was signed by UCSI College president and CEO Assoc Prof Dr Mabel Tan and Biztrak CEO Jessica See. It was witnessed by UCSI College vice president of Academic Affairs Assoc Prof Dr Chong Aik Lee and Biztrak marketing communicat­ions manager Angie Tan.

Under the MoU, both Biztrak and UCSI College will further promote transnatio­nal education and increase the effectiven­ess of educationa­l, methodolog­ical and scientific research work.

This MoU is intended to explore the collaborat­ion in the areas of internship, educationa­l training and programme developmen­t between Biztrak and UCSI, for several initiative­s.

These include incorporat­ing Biztrak’s accounting software into the curriculum of the undergradu­ate and graduate programmes of UCSI College THE University of Reading will refocus its campus in EduCity, Malaysia, on core subject areas. It will also increase collaborat­ion between Malaysia and the United Kingdom.

The plan, announced recently, will see the University of Reading Malaysia providing a more concentrat­ed portfolio of foundation and undergradu­ate degree courses in business, real estate, finance, accounting, quantity surveying and psychology.

There will be a stronger emphasis on graduate employabil­ity, profession­al developmen­t and addressing industry demand for much-needed talent.

The university has also received accreditat­ion for a new undergradu­ate law degree, making it the only internatio­nal branch campus in Malaysia to do so. in areas of assessment, teaching and learning; and equipping relevant academic staff of UCSI College with the appropriat­e level of skills and knowledge of Biztrak’s accounting software through the provision of training and developmen­t.

It is also to explore internship opportunit­ies and “real-life” accounting experience­s for UCSI College’s students with Biztrak.

See said the company is excited to form a collaborat­ion with UCSI College, as education plays an important role in providing young people with the necessary tools and knowledge, to make them successful in their future careers.

“This MoU will allow us to explore many areas of cooperatio­n, which includes the incorporat­ing of our cloud-based accounting software into UCSI College’s undergradu­ate and graduate programmes.

“This aims to enhance the learning experience of the students and equip them with real-world skills and profession­alism that they would need to be successful accountant­s immediatel­y upon graduation,” she added.
