Pact on higher education
BIZTRAK Business Solutions Sdn Bhd has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with USCI College.
This is to establish cooperation in the field of higher education which is mutually beneficial to both parties.
The MoU was signed by UCSI College president and CEO Assoc Prof Dr Mabel Tan and Biztrak CEO Jessica See. It was witnessed by UCSI College vice president of Academic Affairs Assoc Prof Dr Chong Aik Lee and Biztrak marketing communications manager Angie Tan.
Under the MoU, both Biztrak and UCSI College will further promote transnational education and increase the effectiveness of educational, methodological and scientific research work.
This MoU is intended to explore the collaboration in the areas of internship, educational training and programme development between Biztrak and UCSI, for several initiatives.
These include incorporating Biztrak’s accounting software into the curriculum of the undergraduate and graduate programmes of UCSI College THE University of Reading will refocus its campus in EduCity, Malaysia, on core subject areas. It will also increase collaboration between Malaysia and the United Kingdom.
The plan, announced recently, will see the University of Reading Malaysia providing a more concentrated portfolio of foundation and undergraduate degree courses in business, real estate, finance, accounting, quantity surveying and psychology.
There will be a stronger emphasis on graduate employability, professional development and addressing industry demand for much-needed talent.
The university has also received accreditation for a new undergraduate law degree, making it the only international branch campus in Malaysia to do so. in areas of assessment, teaching and learning; and equipping relevant academic staff of UCSI College with the appropriate level of skills and knowledge of Biztrak’s accounting software through the provision of training and development.
It is also to explore internship opportunities and “real-life” accounting experiences for UCSI College’s students with Biztrak.
See said the company is excited to form a collaboration with UCSI College, as education plays an important role in providing young people with the necessary tools and knowledge, to make them successful in their future careers.
“This MoU will allow us to explore many areas of cooperation, which includes the incorporating of our cloud-based accounting software into UCSI College’s undergraduate and graduate programmes.
“This aims to enhance the learning experience of the students and equip them with real-world skills and professionalism that they would need to be successful accountants immediately upon graduation,” she added.
