Knightsbridge Lip Mask wins ‘highly commended’ award in London ceremony
Sabahborn Jameson Juwily (pic), founder of cosmetics brand MYJ Beauty London, has received an award for his lip product at the Pure Beauty Awards 2019 in London.

Lip Mask took home the “highly commended” award for the ‘Best New Lip Product’ category at the rebel punkthemed ceremony at London’s 8 Northumberland Avenue on Oct 27.
The awards are given based on four grades; gold, silver, bronze and highly commended.
“When they announced Best New Lip Product, I could not believe my ears when they called out #MYJBEAUTYLONDON.
“I was completely dumbfounded. This is an amazing experience.
“I am so happy with this award and (to a) small brand like myself, it’s so important and rewarding.
“Big thank you to everyone for your support and love.
“I can’t (have) done it without you,” the 39-year-old from Tuaran said on his Instagram account on Friday.
Juwily previously worked as a beauty consultant for Smashbox and later as a makeup artist for Stila Cosmetics before launching his cosmetics brand in 2013.
According to the organisers, the awards, which is in its 18th year, attracted a record number of entries from beauty brands across every category this year.
The awards recognise the latest ground-breaking and innovative brands and products launched in the country over the past 12 months.
The winners are voted by Pure Beauty’s readers, including beauty industry insiders and expert beauty retail staff.
Sabah Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Seri Wilfred Madius Tangau also congratulated Juwily.

“Jameson, a humble #Tuaranborn is living proof that perseverance is key to becoming a successful #entrepreneur,” he said on his Twitter account.
Among the other big winners at the awards ceremony were Charlotte Tilbury’s Goddess Cleansing Ritual for ‘Best New Skin Care Product’ and Luxury Palette in Pillow Talk for ‘Best New Eye Product’, as well as Forever’s Aloe Bio-Cellulose Mask for ‘Best New Face Mask’.
