KUALA LUMPUR: Passengers using KTMB’s ETS service will now be able to buy flexi fare tickets from Jan 15 onwards to facilitate travel for the whole of March 2020.

In a statement yesterday, the Transport Ministry said it was introducing a more affordable fare for those wishing to travel any destination served by the ETS, which runs from Padang Besar, Perlis, all the way to Gemas, Negri Sembilan.

The flexi fare tickets allow commuters to enjoy cheaper prices by buying tickets earlier compared to last-minute purchases.

“For example, for travel during festive seasons or school holidays, commuters who book early will enjoy lower fares than those who buy the tickets at the last minute.
