Gruesome death for Nepali worker

ALOR GAJAH: A foreign worker died after falling into a meat mincing machine at a factory in Masjid Tanah here.

The victim died on the spot from severe injuries to his lower body, at about 8am yesterday.

Personnel from the Masjid Tanah fire station, led by operations commander Mazlan Samah, took about 30 minutes to extricate the remains of the 22-year-old Nepalese.

It was learnt that the victim was doing routine maintenance when the machine suddenly started.

There were three other workers at that time.
