YouTube sensation Sandra selling salted fish

SABAHAN singer Sandra Dianne (pic ), who appeared to have “vanished” from the entertainm­ent radar after attracting seven million views on YouTube, is busy selling salted fish, reported Berita Harian.

Sandra, however, said she was actively writing and composing songs behind scenes.

“But at the same time I am busy handling my salted fish business,” she was quoted as saying.

Sandra, 26, also competed in the third season of Big Stage, a reality show.

Her talent was first uncovered during the Mentor Legend reality show in 2014.

Sandra ventured into the salted fish business to secure an alternativ­e source of income.

> Several villagers in the Kampung Tanah Timbul in Sanglang, Perlis, had allegedly left their homes before the authoritie­s imposed the targeted enhanced movement control order (MCO) in their neighbourh­ood, reported Utusan Malaysia.

Kampung Tanah Timbul villager Md Zuki Hamid, 45, said some residents left the high-risk area since Saturday to escape the lockdown.

“I hope those who have left will return to the village for (Covid-19) screening process. Their actions will only put others at risk,” Md Zuki was quoted as saying.

Perlis Health Department director Dr Sirajuddin Hashim said they had yet to receive informatio­n on possible “escapees”, as the screening process was still ongoing.

The authoritie­s had imposed the targeted enhanced MCO in Kampung Kuala Sanglang and Kampung Tanah Timbul for 28 days until Sept 4 to contain the spread of Covid-19 linked to the supersprea­der Sivagangga cluster.

> Kosmo! reported that UK-based trainee surgeon Dr Nur Amalina Che Bakri has gotten engaged to her European boyfriend.

Dr Amalina, who made the announceme­nt on social media, said that she was making preparatio­ns for the wedding in both the United Kingdom and Malaysia.

In 2018, she uploaded a picture of herself and the man, while admitting that he was her boyfriend.
