Dimsum now served on Maxis TV
Users can enjoy popular shows at home or on-the-go
PETALING JAYA: Fans of Asian dramas and movies can now have full servings of them as Dimsum Entertainment content becomes available on Maxis TV.
Dimsum chief marketing officer Lam Swee Kim said the content provider was proud to be working with Maxis to add more content to its over-the-top (OTT) platform.
“This will extend our reach further and bring exciting content such as dramas, movies and anime from Thailand, China, South Korea, Japan, Indonesia, and Singapore,” she said.
As Dimsum becomes available on Maxis TV, fans can enjoy popular shows and films from these countries such as The World of the Married, The Crown Princess , and
The Twin Flower Legend at home or on-the-go.
Viewers can start by creating an account with Maxis TV and selecting one of the three packages, with Single Pass packages starting at a daily rate of RM3, inclusive of 3GB of data.
They can also opt for the 2-OTT Pass package priced at RM18 a month, which provides unlimited data that would entitle them to choose two content streaming services of their liking, including Dimsum.
There is also a 30-day free trial for new Dimsum subscribers on Maxis TV.

Dimsum is a video-on-demand service operated by SMG Entertainment Sdn Bhd, part of Star Media
Group Bhd, that focuses on Asian content delivered over mobile applications, TV apps and the Web.
