Guidelines on public exams and central assessment­s

● All exam halls or rooms used must be sanitised: (a) every day after the end of the exam for exam centres with no Covid-19 cases; and (b) as soon as the exam hall or room is emptied when there is a Covid-19 case.

● Candidates must adhere to and follow the routes provided and ensure a safe physical distance while waiting for their parents or guardian to fetch them.

● Private candidates who want to eat at break time between morning and evening sessions must make reservatio­ns for packed food from their school canteen through their exam invigilato­r.

● Candidates must eat at their seats and school canteens must provide packed food.

● Candidates must bring their own prayer materials and schools must provide a room, space or prayer room for Zohor prayers. Candidates must perform Asar prayers at home or in their hostels after completing their papers.

● Candidates with a temperatur­e of 37.5°C and below but are having mild symptoms will be allowed to sit for the exams in a separate room.

● Candidates have to briefly remove their face mask when asked by exam invigilato­rs to confirm their attendance.

● Private candidates will be placed in halls or rooms close to the school entrance.

● Exam invigilato­rs who are Covid-19 positive, or are instructed to quarantine or show symptoms will be replaced.

● A liaison officer in each health district office (PKD) will be the main source of reference at the district level in managing Covid-19 cases.
