COSMETICS entrepreneur Nur Sajat (pic) was nowhere to be seen when police and religious authorities raided his home on Sunday night, Kosmo! reported.

The 36-year-old, whose real name is Muhammad Sajjad Kamaruz Zaman, is wanted for failing to attend proceedings at the Syariah High Court.

According to sources, only his father Kamaruz Zaman Harun, 68, his maid, and two stepchildren were at his home in Section 10, Kota Damansara, Selangor.

“After further investigation, and a full search at his house, authorities failed to find Sajat,” said the source.

He had reportedly poked fun at religious authorities over social media by claiming that authorities do not dare “knock on his door” to arrest him.

Sajat made the remarks after his followers asked him where he was on Instagram.

On Jan 6, Sajat was charged with insulting Islam and allegedly committed the offence at his beauty centre in Section 16, Shah Alam, at 7.30pm on Feb 23, 2018.

The offence under Section 10(a) of the Syariah Crimes (Selangor) Enactment 1995 carries a maximum fine of RM5,000 or imprisonment not exceeding three years or both, if convicted.

> The daily also reported that DAP’s Ketari assemblyman Young Syefura Othman and Edrin Furtado got engaged on Sunday.

Young Syefura, known as Rara, 31, who was born in Sitiawan, Perak, uploaded several photos of the occasion on social media.

The picture of her hantaran (wedding gift) got 900 likes.

“Thank you so much everyone! I am sorry I cannot reply to each one of your comments

“Please pray that our nikah (marriage solemnisation) will go smoothly as well. God willing,” she added.

Rara was previously married to Muhammad Masyur, an investment manager on Sept 24, 2016. They divorced on March 7, 2019.
