Bising makes morning entry

SEVERE Tropical Storm Surigae (international name) entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility yesterday morning, the state weather bureau said. The weather disturbance will now be known locally as “Bising”. The bureau said the storm had maximum sustained winds of 110 kph and gustiness of 135 kph.
