KUALA LUMPUR: Selangor police will be formulating a new game plan for the movement control order imposed on six districts in the state from today until May 17.

Selangor police chief Comm Datuk Arjunaidi Mohamed urged the public to take heed of the standard operating procedures announced by the National Security Council.

“Yes, we will definitely be changing our game plan this time around with an emphasis on ensuring that everyone in these areas complies with the SOP.

“In Selangor, we have compliance operations task force teams at the state level as well as within all the districts. They will be out and about to ensure that all is in order,” he said.

Asked to elaborate on the changes which they would be making to their game plan, Comm Arjunaidi declined, adding that this was between him and his personnel.

“The public should only be concerned with SOP compliance and ensuring that they do their part to curb the spread of Covid-19.

“We have been through MCO here before and I am sure that the community is capable of doing their part,” he said.
