AFTER more than four years since her divorce, singer-actress Ezlynn (pic) revealed that she has married Wan Mohd Hafizam Wan Ismail, 45, on Sept 11, reported Berita Harian.

The 39-year-old celebrity, whose real name is Azline Ariffin, tied the knot in a virtual ceremony with Wan Mohd Hafizam, who 20 years ago became Malaysia’s first liver donor.

“Alhamdulillah, we had a simple wedding ceremony in line with the new norms of the Covid-19 pandemic era. No celebrations were organised,” said Ezlynn.

“There are no wedding photos, even if we wanted to take any it’s difficult due to our distance. My husband and I are in Perlis while our families are in Kuala Lumpur.

“Everything so far has been sufficient. We have officially tied the knot,” she told the daily.

The Hi Hi Bye Bye singer met her husband while he was involved in some charity work for a non-governmental organisation.

“It just happened. There were no extra signs, and I was simply attracted to his sincerity. He is diligent with his prayers, always ready to lend a helping hand to people and is a trustworthy man.”

When asked about her husband’s status, Ezlynn declined to comment.

“I do not wish to comment on my husband’s status. What’s important is that we are currently open with our marriage status,” she added.

Previously, Ezlynn married her former personal manager Adam Fahmy Shamsudin in November 2011, and divorced in October 2017 without any children.

Wan Mohd Hafizam is said to have three children.

> In another report from the same daily, actress Scha Elinnea has been nominated for the New Popular Female Artiste category at the 34th Anugerah Bintang Popular BH (ABPBH) awards.

The actress, whose real name is Natasha Mohamed Mubeen, is slowly proving her talent and has been working hard ever since her debut in the 2018 drama series Mr Grey.

She has been cast as the lead in some of her recent work, including the TV3 drama Sitik Tok.

“I know that even now, many still treat me as nothing more than a pretty face, but I can’t do anything about that.

“How I dress defines my lifestyle and fashion sense – not my career achievements in the industry.

“Acting is my passion, and I know that I’m still young and have a long way to go. This ABPBH 34 nomination is proof that my work is getting recognition,” said the actress in an interview.

Scha is aware of the fierce competition in her category, and calls it a “great blessing” to be in the Top 20, let alone the Top 5.

She said the other shortlisted candidates in her category were rightfully deserving of the award as well.
