-

VETERAN Hong Kong actress Maggie Cheung Man-yuk was recently photographed in public looking thin and sickly, which led to many fans worrying about her health, reports China Press.

The 57-year-old actress, who had not been spotted in public since 2019 when she attended an event in Shanghai, was recently seen dressed in a cap and flannel shirt.

With her sleeves rolled up, many fans noted that her forearms were thinner than before and her collarbone was more visible.

Some Internet users have also made a comparison with photos of her in recent years and pointed out that she had been gradually growing thinner with time.

Many fans were worried if she was ill.

Cheung started her career in acting after winning the Miss Hong Kong Pageant in 1983.

She won Best Actress in the Hong Kong Film Awards five times in a span of 11 years, a record that is unbeaten until today.

In recent years, she has kept a low profile and rarely made public appearances except for fashion events and award ceremonies.

> A man in China is taking “double-masking” to a whole new level after he was seen wearing several dozen face masks while on the subway, reports China Press.

The man attracted stares from other passengers and was filmed to have looped two face masks over his ears and had around 50 other masks stacked between his face and the two in front.

When the video was uploaded on Weibo, it attracted more than four million views in under five hours.

“Before the virus could get to him, he would have died from lack of oxygen!” an Internet user wrote.

Many made fun of the man while others chided him for wasting precious face masks.
