> Nomination day will be held on Feb 26, early voting on March 8 and polling on March 12. This will involve 2.5 million voters, with 750,000 new voters, including 18–21-year-olds.

Organisers will need to obtain permits from the police for ceramah, talks and campaigns.

Tents, rooms or designated spaces must be disinfected based on Health Ministry guidelines as soon as each voter with symptoms has finished voting.

House-to-house visits are limited to a maximum of 5 people who are not allowed to enter homes or meet the occupants. Distribution of campaign materials must be done outside the gates.

Ceramah, talks and campaigns in open or public venues, and any forms of entertainment are not allowed during the campaign period.

After voting, symptomatic voters will be managed by Health Ministry officers on duty for further action, including taking an Antigen Rapid Test Kit (RTK-AG) self-test.

As for patients under investigation (PUI) and persons under surveillance (PUS) status, they need to apply to the district health officer to go out temporarily to the polling station and permission is subject to risk assessment done.

Voters who test positive for Covid-19 will not be allowed to leave the treatment area to vote to prevent infection and transmission of the virus.

Only 100 people are allowed at ceramah and campaigns that are to be held at party offices and official operation rooms for two hours and before 10pm.

On polling day, voters are required to wear double face masks, while voters with symptoms such as fever and cough need to be isolated from other voters and cast their ballots in a special area such as a tent, room or designated space.
