Bellingham, who plays his club football for Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga, could be the missing piece in England’s midfield after their agonising shootout loss to Italy in the Euro 2020 final.

The youngster, who plays with a maturity beyond his years, is a regular for Dortmund and became the youngest player in the Bundesliga to be named captain in a match against Cologne last month.

His exploits have caught the eye of Real Madrid, Manchester City and Liverpool and he could be set for a move to one of these clubs in the summer.
