Moukoko was a surprise pick by Germany coach Hansi Flick but the Borussia Dortmund youngster could be worth the selection.
A versatile player who can play on either flank and also through the middle, he can be a handful to Die Mannschaft’s opponents.
The Germans have been crying out for a prolific striker since the retirement of the World Cup’s all-time top scorer Miroslav Klose and have high hopes that Moukoko could be their new sensation.
With the four-time champions’ dearth of striking options laid bare with the injury to Timo Werner and the shock inclusion of 2014 final match winner Mario Goetze, Moukoko is a welcome addition.
