Mohamed Khaled assures constituents of his pledge

-

KOTA TINGGI: Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin has assured his constituents that he will there for them even if he has to take on a federal position if Barisan Nasional wins the elections.

The Umno vice president said it is up to the party to decide his federal position, if any.

“For me, I will divide my time between Kota Tinggi and whatever role I will play.

“Providing efficient service does not mean I have to be here all day long every day,” he said during a walkabout here.

He said he is not running away from urban Pasir Gudang to Kota Tinggi, which is deemed a much safer seat.

In the 2018 political tsunami, Mohamed Khaled lost the Pasir Gudang parliamentary seat and the Permas state seat.

Mohamed Khaled is locked in a three-cornered fight against Onn Jaafar from Pakatan Harapan and Mohamad Ridhwan Rasman from Perikatan Nasional.
