People, this is what we must vote for

DEAR voters, the 15th General Election is an important time for you, your family and the nation. Rejecting corrupt candidates and those with doubtful integrity is the responsibility of all of us.

Every vote we cast affects how Malaysia will be perceived in five years and further into the future. We should not pledge the value of our vote out of only frustration or despair alone. As a citizen, voting is our right, a crucial one that needs to be upheld!

#Rasuahbusters calls on all citizens to vote on Saturday for:

> Economic recovery – Malaysia’s

economy needs to be redeveloped with justice and transparency that will reduce leaks and corruption in any form.

> Improved national policies – Malaysia’s position in the Corruption Perception Index needs to be improved. It can be done through better formulation of policies related to integrity, good governance and anti-corruption practices.

> Preventing leaks – Leakages of public funds and other such irregularities need to be prevented with appropriate monitoring so that the issue of poverty, food security, rising prices of goods and houses can be well controlled.

By preventing monetary leaks, people’s rights to healthcare facilities, education, transportation and employment opportunities are restored with it being made a priority in government administration.

> Harmony and prosperity – We must have the guarantee of harmony within our multiracial, multireligious and multicultural community so that we can all live peacefully and prosperously while respecting the differences among us.

Don’t miss the opportunity to choose a candidate who is clean of corruption, has integrity, is responsible, ready to defend the fate of the people and is intelligent enough to lead this country forward.
