Baby dumped in Kajang

KUALA LUMPUR: A newborn baby boy was found abandoned in front of a double-storey terrace house in Taman Saujana, Kajang.

Kajang OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Zaid Hassan said police received a report from the house owner who found the baby, believed to be 14 days old, at 11.39pm on Thursday.

“The baby was wearing only cloth diapers. The house owner took custody of the baby before lodging a report,” he said in a statement.

ACP Mohd Zaid said the baby, with the umbilical cord attached, was sent to the Kajang Hospital for initial treatment.
