Proud of dedicated team

SARIKEI Specialist Hospital is a minor hospital in a town of the same name in Sarawak. This public hospital has limited facilities and faces a shortage of specialists. However, we were deeply impressed by the quality of service provided there, especially by one Dr Chieng and a Dr Amila.

They attended with great care to our 87-year-old mother who had developed problems with bleeding, giving us valuable advice.

We have been taking care of our mother for the past nine years, and seeing the staff’s gentle and caring ways with her shone a ray of hope into our hearts, making us more determined to continue to care for her – we know we are not alone in caring for the aged.

We also found the pharmacist very professional and patient in advising us about the effects of each medication and exactly when it should be taken (and for some reason, when she called out our name to take our turn at the counter, her voice felt so soothing!).

This is a hospital filled with love and understanding. That makes such a difference.

To the hospital’s director, you really have put the right people in the right place to offer the best quality of service to those in need. As Sarikeians, we are proud of all of you, the entire dedicated team. Do keep up the good work!
